Based on the 35 mons I saw, it makes sense, though Everton have started very well this half, without creating too much.

 

How was that a free kick against smalling?

 

Everton are doing well, although they were always going to come out and go at us right from the off to have any hope of getting anything.

But the key will be for us to take any chance we get on the counter, and Mata just doesn't have to pace to do that.

Tbh we could have had a foul against Smalling and against Rooney in the 1st half for the arm on Naismith on the first goal, so the ref hasn't given everything their way. But they have gotten most of the decisions.

 

This ref is horrific.

Giving them everything. Lukaku fouls smalling, gets free kick, just attacked then and foul on edge of our box, no foul given.

That was no fluke, we've been playing that sort of game all season, nick it high, break at speed.

IMHO this would be an outstanding away win, as was the away win to Southampton. Personally I don't see us winning the league .... but happy we are heading in the right direction.
