You were going to score 1 at most? Really? For the past week you Mancs and your team have been going on about how this is your best ever attack, on par with 99, how quickly the tone changes from you guys, haha, so funny.
Anderson looked quite good when he came on, he just needs to do it for a full game, several games on the trott
This is Comass/99 prediction every game, you wouldn`t believe how many times i wish for him to be right
De Gea and Kagawa were class tonight, people questioning why RVP didnt start but he didnt play much in pre season with the transfer saga and I doubt even Mancini would have started him if they were the ones who got him, he did set up a chance for Kagawa but he couldnt get a clean connection.
Ummm... We do have different opinions Also Everotn are a hard team to face at home let alone away from home... I expect city and others to drop points to them... We can't judge our attack until we've seen them play abit more, but we do have some good options in the final third...
The tone has not changed, Everton have a very good defence, third best last season so nobody expected a goal fest against them. Over the course of the season i would hope we score a few more goals than last year but if not i still expect us to be the leagues leading scorers.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTL1c1tQkRE Slightly long, but it shows Kagawa's touches... Had a good, tidy game.. Can't wait until he's in full swing...
I can see the 3 points on the sheet. Dont you lot always say the mark of champions is winning when you play bad ? Or is that just bollox now you dont win when you play OK . ?
1 No the mark of champions is consistancy 2 Sometimes you can play ok or even great but if the other team plays better you lose! The league is 38 games long and as such i accept tonight for what it was, put to the sword by a player on top of his game and a team who are very good. I would hope this will be one of maybe our six hardest games of the season, if this is so we should be ok, if this was an easy game then we are in trouble.
My only comments are Fellaini and Distin were on fire, don't get why Vidic wasn't marking Fellaini at set pieces though
the problem was our back four. Valencia ain't a right back and he was wasted at right back position today, Carrick ain't a defender, Vidic ain't fully match fit yet, his first competitive match after 8 months or so, Evra was also not fully match fit too. but i think the formation was all wrong too, Welbeck or Rooney played at left wing at times, we didn't have a left winger, we should of played 4-4-2 formation with Kakawa and Scholes in mid and played Ashley Young in left wing. There was two positives. Kakawa was our best player, he looks really promising, his link up play with Rooney at times were fantastic and his quick passings is great, he had a very good game. De Gea was also very great. he has shown his shot stopping is one of the best in the league. What a turnaround, it was this time last year when people were calling him flop after one mistake in that Westbrom game, they were saying he's a waste of money but he proved them all wrong.
