Manunited have ALWAYS BEEN rich, yet we competed with them on a consistent basis with LESS RESOURCES than we have now. in 2008 we came within 4 points of United, and I believe 2 behindof Chelsea, so it's not all about their money, it's about our **** policies in letting our best players go, and replacing them with average players. When you rely on players like Ramsey, Gervinho, you're not surprised of severely lagging behind the likes of the other big clubs?????????? We are our own enemies, it's that simple, we regress because of our own policies, not because of what the other big teams do.

SIMPLE logic tells you, that when you regularly sell your best players, you're not going to be able to progress, and when you replace your best players with inferior players, you sure as hell ain't going to progress, so is it any wonder why we always fall severely behind the other big teams? It's like DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, the reason is staring you right in the face. You think selling Fabregas, Nasri, RVP etc puts you closer to your Cities and United's, or further??????? :-D, we all know the answer my friends. Heck, let's sell Walcott next, and go further off the pace of the big teams, then later let's blame their money, rather than our own stupid policies. Theres a huge difference between lumping from the back to the CF, and playing it to the wings and crossing it in to the CF.

Look i don't care why they wanted to leave, fact is, we regularly lose our best players? Si? And if you regularly lose your best players, you can never progress or close the gap on the other big clubs, that's just a fact. There's no system on this planet were you get rid of the best, and expect to move forward.
Our unbeaten season is the best example, we only made 2 signings, Lehman, and a youthful Clichy, BUT, in the summer we kept all our best players, and so even though Chelsea went and bought so many players, and United were the defending champions with a strong team, we COMPLETELY dominated, why? Because WE HAD OUR BEST PLAYERS, we kept them, and look what happened, we got success. If we sold 2-3 of our best players that summer, we would've never won the league that year, it's that simple, you get rid of your best players, and you suffer.

I am usually not this negative but with where we are, the way wenger chooses his team and invests in player doesn't give me much choice, I think. I read, if we keep up with the same 'speed' of collecting points like now we will end up with 55points (I think it was) - last year that would have given us an 8th spot. Also, wenger has been with us for aaaaages. This is his worst season so far (when it comes to points). Surely all this means we r NOT in a good place and something is required to happen...
If we kept our 1st 8 games form I think we'd have finished with 60 points. Last season at a point we were touted to finish 7th-8th. Still plenty of footy left. We've gotten most of our hard games out of the way until the next transfer window. I'm confident we can go on a long winning streak from now until January.
We had a very very **** start last year, but from October-January we made a very very good run, that really helped us later in the season, we dipped again in January but regained again end of February to make another good run. But the good run in February was aided by our earlier October-January run. So far this season, it's December already, and we haven't had any good run, which basically means, we're going to have to go on a very very good run. We haven't had back to back wins since early September.
And now is the perfect time for one. Undefeated in 6 games (whether you want to admit it or not), hardest team in next 6 games is a WBA team that has just lost, Rosicky is back, TV and Mert and Chez played very well, Jack will be back to full form soon, Diaby should be back , Transfer Window is just around the corner and Gazidis said we have money (He might be a prat, but he still said that) For all the poor runs we've been on we are still only 12 points off first, we overturned a similar gap last season., Best team in the CoC Cup, in the last 16 of the CL, and in the FA Cup
We are NOT unbeaten in 6 games in the league, in our last 5 we have lost to United. If you think we still have a chance of catching United, and competing for the league, you are living in fantasy land, but it doesn't matter, because you will always say the same thing, irrelevant of the facts, few weeks ago it was only 8 points, then only 9, now only 12, lol, only you fail to see the pattern here. and if you think 12 points isn't a big gap, and 12 points can be passed as "only" 12 points, then there is no point in having any conversation with you because you're really in the realm of delusion, no matter what happens or how many points behind we are, you'll always come up with something silly, OH IT'S ONLY 20 POINTS. As I told you before, and being proven right now, there are lot's of points for grabs, but that doesn't mean we will grab them, but most likely drop them and move further away from the top, and lo and behold, that's exactly what's happened. When we go 15 points behind United, you will then come and say it's only 15, yeah keep telling yourself that. And please don't give me the bull**** about how we caught Spurs last season, Spurs are NOT United, so don't equate the two as being the same, because they're not, catching United when being double digit points behind them is a whole other ball game than catching a team like Spurs. And plus, in previous seasons gone by, we have NEVER caught up with United when they started pulling away from us and going 10 plus points ahead. And for ****S sakes, we're in the FA Cup? LOLLLLLLLL, you do know EVERY team in the top flight is in the FA Cup right? I swear to God, if you came up with this **** at a pub in North London, you'd be laughed out of the place, LOL, we're in the FA Cup, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We haven't even played a game yet in that competition, of which, we're automatically placed in.
I don't buy into this ranting nonsense above. I think we're all frustrated with results over the last few games - apart from the Spuds - but we are on a six game unbeaten run and that's something to build on. Again, like last season the reasons why we're faltering are within our grasp to put right, we're not being outplayed by any team. If we can address the issues that are in our control to do so - and that is pressing the oppo when they have the ball and keeping control of the ball in MF - as we did at the start of the game against Everton, then I think we will turn draws into wins and steadily climb the table.
Report from the Match: The supporters were incredible. Constant singing throughout, FAR louder than the Everton fans who were callously mocked for their quietness. There wasn't one chant before they scored, and they quietened down pretty fast after that too. Having said that, there were too many of the RvP chants for my liking, the fans hated it when he played for Arsenal, don't sing it now he doesn't, it's just classless. On the game, almost everything Everton did was through Fellaini - the guy is a beast. I'd love to see him at Arsenal. Thank goodness Arsenal had Merts who did really well against him in the air, otherwise Everton would have dominated. Vermaelen was at fault for the goal, he stood off when he should have closed down. Theo was reasonable, but stayed wide too much. There were big spaces a lot of the time in between the fullback and centreback, if he'd pulled the fullback wide and spun into the space, Sagna could have put him through on the diagonal straight in on goal. Disappointed by that. The midfield was non-existent. Far too many balls bypassed them right through the middle and put the back 4 under pressure immediately. Arteta seemed a bit off, which was a shame. Ramsey dawdled a couple of times and you could feel the annoyance of the fans. Substitutions didn't come early enough to have a meaningful impact on the game. Chants of "Theo Theo Theo" and "Wenger sign him up" were fairly common - the supporters definitely let him know they want him to stay. Gibbs looked good when he came on considering he wasn't meant to play the full match. Jack was the pick from the midfield, and Giroud won lots of flick-ons, but no-one was running beyond him. Giroud in fact, was immense. He chased tirelessly, his work rate truly is amazing. 100% committed to the cause from the off to the end. There's a lot of running that you maybe don't see on TV, but he was tireless, a true example. The main deficiency was, as usual, not enough players in the box, and too much passing the ball around when a shooting opportunity presented itself. I lost count of the amount of times fans were screaming "shoot" at players wandering around the edge of the box. More long range shooting please!! Overall, a reasonable performance, but in reality, just the same issues we've all come to know - not enough crosses, not enough men in the box, not enough shots, and missing the obvious opportunities.
