Looks like Leicester should be 2-0 up now but p1ssing it away. Last thing they want is Palace scoring against the run of play.....
To be fair you cant realise something that hasn't come to pass. I don't agree on the Spurs argument. 1. They have never managed it before. Their side doesn't contain any experienced league winners and the manager has never done it before. 2. They have a harder fixture list than ourselves. My money is still on Leicester but I think we stand a good chance of overtaking Tottenham and the league is still a possibility. Any other Season mind you this wouldn't be the case.
Why'd you remove your other profile pic, the one with the light barbell rack made to look heavier than it actually was with those actually being plastic made plates weighing what? 5-10 kilo each, and giving the false perception of having steel 20 kilo plates. HA! Loser.
Of course you can come to realise before it has come to pass! A lot of people said Leicester a few months ago, I stubbornly refused.. Because I thought they would crack.. I dont think it is a matter of fixtures now, we lost our bottle at several crucial points this season. Of all the top 4 managers Arsene was best placed.. A lot of uncertainties with the others, we shld have taken advantage. With 8 games to go, you have to accept we are fighting for our usual 3rd/4th place trophy.
WTF is wrong with you? Besides that was 180kg. Not exactly light but I can lift a lot more. "Steel 20 kilo plates" ..?! You are a ****ing moron. Most good quality plates are plastic covered. That's so you can drop them ****wit. You never watched the Olympics? They were BISON plates. Nice and colourful and some of the best. But yeah I cant decide on a profile pick.
Really would be a horrible joke, if a team like Leicester go on to win the league. It would be a horrible indictment for football in England. Dont have anything against them, but just do not rate them...
On the contrary, if Leicester do win it, it will be like football used to be. Teams won not because of expensively assembled squads (although it was the case in some teams), but it was down to team spirit, strategy, morale and tactics. A bit like football used to be before money took over. If they win it, I would say fair play to them. Certainly shows up our own charade these past ten years.
Agreed it will be romantic for them to win it. Still shaking my head at an opportunity missed for us. With the usual characters like chelsea, manc, manu and liverpool going through issues and transition, we had continuity. I wonder if s manager has ever won the league in their first season. I struggle to see how they will equip themselves for champions league football.
Leicester still could end up bottling this, they have some pretty tough games to Everton-West Ham-United-Chelski, Sunderland who will be fighting for survival, it can easily turn. The only problem is that I can't see us taking advantage, it suits Spurs, but I also see them bottling it, as they face Liverpool-United-Chelski-Stoke.
I think Leicester are in survival mode, not winning the championship mode. We need to win at least 3 games more than them. I cannot see them bottling it now to be honest. Even though AW seems to think we passed the "mental test" today. Really don't know what mental test he is talking about for almost a dead rubber game.
There is a good chance that we could go on a run now, especially as the pressure is off us quite a bit. All eyes are on Leicester and Spurs, but I think it's Leicester to lose as Spurs has the harder fixtures left. Saying that, I can see us pick up quite a few points from now to the end and the pressure will built up on Leicester big time.
Just seen the highlights, two very well crafted goals. Especially liked the way that we battled to win the ball back from Everton for Bellerin to set up the second for Iwobi. Really good to see us playing like this again
Yes it was a really good performance, we controlled the midfield, scored two good goals and we did battle to win the ball and then turned defence into attack quickly. It was nice seeing us able to play intricate passes around the box without losing it sloppily. The big poor point was our defence was all over the shop, particularly in the 1st half with lukaku giving gabriel the runaround
Spring 2004. We were in for 2 cups and the league and got knocked out of the 2 cups in the same week. That year ended quite well
I have to say I didn't see Ozil get injured (was away from my screen at that point) and I just thought he'd been substituted! Did it look bad? Any ideas how long he'll be out? On a plus note Cech, Ramsey and .... Flamini should be back for the Watford game.
