Hojbjerg not in the match day squad at all. Punishment for the strop he threw when taken off against West Brom?

Awestruck by the majestic tradition they have at Everton ... you know, the first team to have dugouts etc. I know I'd be awestruck by the occasion at such a great ground steeped in tradition

Need to get back to a starting eleven now that we are not in europe. Players are not getting a chance to form an understanding on the pitch.thats my opinion anyway. COYR

It's either that, or he's picked up a knock, or he's simply been dropped for poor form recently. He was brilliant in the reverse game against Everton, but fairly dire since.

I agree and think we will see this as the fixture list gets back to one game a week in late January. For now though, it is so hard to play a consistent 11 when we have 3 games in 7 days.

Charlie Nicholas - "Boufal did nothing against West Brom"
Stelling - "Which is more than he did against Spurs"

In fairness to MLT he looked a bit put out with them going on about it.

Hojbjerg has looked a tad out of form recently. But the midfield 3 today aren't the most creative. Oh well COYR

Say's a lot about my football knowledge then that I thought Boufal was one of our brightest players against WBA that actually looked like making something happen - first half, anyway

Agreed. He's looked 'most likely' for a while. Yes, he can be frustrating, but like Matt, he's capable of the unexpected too.

It all smacks of something rather unpleasant from the Sky team tbh.

No older pundits are just generally stuck in their ways of "he must run around loads or he is crap"

Right on cue McInally just said "there is no greater asset to a footballer than being able to say he gives us everything he has got"

I would've thought actually being good at football might be slightly more important

Good. Hopefully our opponents will be tricked into the same thinking. Unfortunately, the fact that he regularly has three defenders trying to get the ball off him suggests his cover's already blown.
