I just wonder how many times Baines will get inside Debuchy tomorrow. It's not rocket science that our full-backs cannot defend.

That doesn't really read well, does it? But you know what I mean.

I think playing Ben Arfa on the right would be a mistake tonight, I'd play 4-4-1-1 with Ben Arfa behind Remy.

We simply can't afford to expose Debuchy against Baines and Pienaar as we all know Ben Arfa won't track back if he's playing on the right.

3-1 win for the lads with Cisse getting a couple either side of a Colo header from a corner, I could only get evens at the bookies so it's probably not worth a punt.

I would love to know who your bookmaker is because that scoreline alone is 70s on Betfair at the moment.

I've gone for the Half Time/Full Time market - Newcastle to lead at the interval and for the draw or Everton win. Only because if a goal is nicked in the first half we can all expect Pardew to do the usual and by then the defenders will have been run ragged. At the prices of about 20s it's about the best value that there is.

A good point. For whatever reason HBA has enjoyed his visits to Goodison. Whilst there is a case to be made for playing HBA right to try and pin Baines back, it is unlikely Baines will oblige. With Debuchy all at sea, Baines/Pienaar dovetailing could spell disaster. We were lucky last year as Ba bailed us out reacting to his dropping well. The year before we were slightly fortunate to win, but it was a virtuoso performance from HBA with several gut busting runs. Maybe the introduction of Tiote to get on top of Barkley, and Anita moving right of a diamond to help out Debuchy might be the way?

    I'd be tempted to go

    GK Krul
    RB Debuchy
    LB Santon
    CB Colo
    CB Mbiwa
    DM Tiote
    CM Sissoko
    CM Cabaye
    CM Anita
    AM HBA
    CF Remy

Saying that I'd play Dummett and move Santon over as just trying to plough through with Debuchy is no good and Dummett has looked excellent. I believe Tiote will miss out though and we'll go attacking and try to give them something to think about with HBA right and Remy left. A mistake for me but I think the majority of fans prefer the "have a go" mentality. Personally I don't mind a bit of negativity when its called for, so a bit frustrate them counter attack is alright by me <laugh>

I did gather that there was the possibillity of a tongue inspired cheek rupture there.

Baldy's his own bookie, if he gets his bet right it makes him feel good if not richer, and if he gets it wrong he's not a penny out of pocket.

Also should mean cisse should play as well as pardew got a response from him. Not sure how pards will fit everyone in as like others I'd probably go. 4-5-1. Be an interesting game tonight and definitely interesting to see how pardew sets us up, I stiill think he warrants being here and glad we are showing some patience, though the vultures are obviously circling. (As usual) and we will all be obviously watching him like a hawk..he may bring on tiote to run around like a chicken..something else about birds...

I can only see us getting our ****s tore in I'm afraid. 3-0 to Everton, and possibly a red card.

Cabaye and Cisse on the bench...very gutsy from Pardew but I like it. Love the fact that we're going to be so quick up top.
