One or both of City and Arsenal will drop points so great chance to open up a gap on one of both of them if we can do the business.

It would be nice if both could drop points. If only one drops points it's a tough call. If we think we can go for title City dropping points might be best. If we think only top 4 is possible we want Arse to drop points.

At this point city are not even in a title race imo.

    Neither are arsenal.

My view is that the 4th place imaginary trophy is still utd arsenal spurs city liverpool fighting it out for 3 spots.

What do you think about that?

Everton's defence not better than our own, and our attack is much more better than that of Everton.
LVERPOOL GAOLS FOR 40 GOALS AGAINST 20
EVERTON GOALS FOR 21 GOAL AGAINST 20
    .
But statistics is useless in derby.

This one will be great. I love a good derby. Its going to be a physical game but also a high tempo exciting one.

We will see whats what shortly.

A win here would make December a lot better. Despite our blip since the batarding International break we are doing quite alright. Cheslea are deservedly 6 points ahead because they're doing phenomenally well. But remember in late September everyone was asking the question if City will run away with the league? Chelsea will do what they do, we can only look at our games and try and stay among the pack if we can. City and Arsenal will have other great spells. Spurs are starting to look better. Exciting times. Just hope we avoid another #meltdown on Moday night.

yes, just focus on the next game and try win it. the others games shouldn't come into it. we can only do what we can do and what others do is up to them.

Its hard not to look though.

It's good to look at the other games of the same gameweek, like the Arsenal game Tuesday for example. It's even better after a win because the Chelsea, City and Spurs results were quite **** for us but we kept our heads above water.

We can't complain at being 2nd - I doubt many would have expected this before the season started.
The derby's always a tricky game, though. I wouldn't think it a bad sign if we didn't win because it can so easily happen in these games, but we really do need the win in order to keep the pressure up after the recent blips.

Indeed back-to-back wins will re-instill some confidence.

    Its all very interesting

There is a clear top 6 at this point. so thats bascially europe sortted out. The assumption will be i suppose LFC v utd final in league cup so that would mean 6th gets europa.

theres is a less clear top 4 with spurs still in toughing distance

There is a clear 1st place

There is a bottom 3 just adrift now, but not too far. here are probably 5 sides in the relegation fight from looking at performances and those are 16th to 20th.

from our own performances we are clear top goal scorers. Frustratingly had we defended in any way properly in prior two games (say not let at least 3 goals) we'd be considered joint 4th best defense with utd and arsenal.

West brom having seen pulis try to leave are suddenly the over achievers of the league along with bournemouth.
