Yep. The slight difference was they did (well, some of them) recognise our fitness and pressing game would find them out. But post game it was all about how THEY had failed against a championship quality side..... not much about how good we were. my hat is off to the solitary leeds fan who had bothered to get posting rights to wind them up. He was pretty good.
Your opinion Richard but I have to disagree with you on Alioski & especially Dallas Stuart Dallas vs Everton 87.5% opp. half pass accuracy 93 touches 55/61 successful passes (2nd-most) 40 opp. half passes 15/20 final third passes 5 ball recoveries 3 chances created please log in to view this image 2 crosses 2 clearances 1 tackle won Excellent man-marking on James.

Dallas is our modern day Paul Madeley One of the first names on the team sheet imo! Had anyone uttered those words to me pre-Bielsa I'd have thought they were crackers
How could anyone dismiss that display Our performance brought a perpetual smile to my face, the way we took the game to Everton was a joy please log in to view this image
I went on the Toffees board to offer my sincere condolences at the way Super leeds chewed them up in their own backyard, theres more activity on championship club Millwalls board than theirs. Big club my arse.
Absolutely 1964 it was a quite superb performance. My son commented half way through the second half about how it was a joy to watch us in the PL without the fear of defeat we all felt in the Championship. Shame we can't be there just yet to applaud and praise their efforts but hopefully that day is coming soon. Every one of them has been brilliant in stepping up to the challenge of the PL and as soon as the faithful are allowed back inside ER we'll be letting them all know how amazing they are
I'm really missing the games Jammy, really love the away days. I'd have been going manic in the Leeds end at Goodison
And for those who continuous slag Bamford Paddy is not the main problem, god knows where we'd be without him this season. Klich needs to put his bootlaces through the ball Jack needs to aim for the space beween the sticks Costa needs to be a bit more clever Alioski, Dallas, Phillips need to keep their body shape straighter rather than hit them high & wide Koch, Cooper & Ayling need to win the ball in the air more often at corners & head on target All of them are culpable for missing far too many chances!
Completely agree with this. Bamford gets so much stick for missing chances but every striker misses chances and he's scored a decent amount so far this season. All the midfield players need to start chipping in with goals as well. Klich, Dallas and especially Harrison have all had some glorious chances in the last few games that should be going in. Thankfully we've got 4 points after the last two games so it doesn't matter as much but we need to make glorious opportunities count as we will get punished in some games.
Bamford gets alot of flak because he is the focal point of our attack and is usually responsible for most of the really good chances going begging. Last season I gave alot of flak to Costa, Harrison and Bamford as they are the three who ultimately should be getting most of the chances. Hernandez escaped alot of criticism as he hit good figures with assists and goals (9 each). Whoever the front three are should be eclipsing those figures with the amount of ball they get in space. Unfortunately for Bamford his misses seem to stick in the memory due to the fact it has often cost us points in the past. For example, clearing off the line at Cardiff and his missed header vs Leicester. Both times it cost us within minutes or seconds of it happening and once that thought is in there its instantly brought back. Koch is the same at the other end. He probably makes fewer mistakes than Cooper but the ones he does make have usually ended up in the back of our net. Some players are lucky, others not so much.
