Chelski v Spurs is on ESPN this aft, I was hoping for some feed to watch the City game but seems like the old Internet is not going to be able to cope in Honduras today.😢

Always think fondly of the Durham Ox and never pass the place without smiling, although I don't think I've been in for 30 years. In the days before all day drinking it was one of a few pubs that stayed open all afternoon on market days. Went there one afternoon having started in town, then moved to Cott for the evening sess.

I've possibly ended up drunker but I can't remember when.

Got slung off a bus at some point during the day for impersonating Ian Hunter.

But TBH the details are all a bit hazy.

I remember that I was in the company of a Merchant Seaman.

Never a good move in my experience.

    Think we'll get something tonight.

    Live in hope

We're actually playing five central midfielders.

Is that possibly the least creative team ever to play in the premier league? I really can't see where a spark will come from without Brady or Robertson in particular.

Unless he's playing Meyler at right-back as he has for Ireland, making it:

    McGregor
    Meyler Chester Dawson Rosenior
    Elmo Thudd Livermore Quinn
    Diame
    Jela

What the hell is that team? 4- 5 -1 parking the bus much? I would love to be proved wrong but that doesnt look creative at all.

Are you forgetting that Faye, Figueroa and Danny Graham started in last year's equivalent fixture?

he`s got some scrappers in there in meyler and quinn, bit of desire, might just afford the likes of thudd and diame to express themselves a bit more, we live in hope, got to say personally i would have had rosie at right back with elmo in front of him and robbo at left back with either quinniesta or brady in front, push their full backs back a bit, but hey what do i know !

Elmo, Quinn and Diame can be creative, Rosie caused some decent problems on the left last season, and Meyler can also cause problems at the right end of the pitch as well as score a goal.

I wasn't expecting such dramatic wholesale changes, I genuinely don't think the players are at fault for our bad form, I think they've simply kept on being sold short by the manager playing an awful system that hasn't suited us a bit this season, which a large chunk of the team aren't even slightly used to being new in the summer.

Aluko will probably feel unlucky not to get a start on the wing, and perhaps he should, but I'm pleased to see that Brucey had the balls to drop his woeful club captain. It needed doing.

"Somewhere in Walkington"? How many places are there in Walkington to drink and watch footy? It is a long time since I've been there of course.
