We’re being linked with plenty at the minute, it remains to be seen which ones drop.

Rodríguez?

Allan?

Doucoure?

Arias?

Ramsey?

King?

Plenty of roubles.

The names being flashed about are good.

getting the players Carlo wants un is the most important. Would rather not rush and take until the jan window to get things right.

Looks like Allan is happening and James is highly likely.

I like the link to Romero, I think he’d be ideal to genuinely compete with Pickford.

We’ve still got some dead wood to shift on big wages though.

can see Bernard, Sigurdsson and Boliasie as the first names out along with Besic. Will take a hit on wages mind.

Besic, Bolasie, Sandro, Bernard and Tosun are pulling around £450k A WEEK out of the club.

They can all go for me.

Carlo seems to like Gylfi, I think he’ll stay barring a sizeable offer for him tbh.

forgot about Tosun.

@PJS - BACK AND BOSSING IT

Sounds like Doucoure is now done £22m base fee, same figure for Allan, with James being circa £20m

£64m the trio.

Not bad given Allan was being rated at £50m+ a year ago, James knocked back a permanent move to Bayern for €42m and Watford allegedly wanted £35m+ for Doucoure.

Sack Brands or something though.

I think James is a waste of money. Not sure about Allan, but Doucoure is a great bit of business.

Yeah James is no upgrade on Davies or Walcott mate.
Very droll response mate.

He may well be an upgrade, but how much of an upgrade is the question you need to ask yourself.

One good World cup, one reasonable season in La Liga. Both of these were 5/6 years ago and he has done precisely nothing since to substantiate his supposed 'World Class" reputation. And let's not forget about his injury list and his supposed 'prima Donna' and lacklustre attitude to the game.

It wasn’t meant to be droll it was merely a statement of fact.

Seeing a City fan feeling the need to take a pop is great though, funny as.

As for him being a flop for 6 years, yeah mate circa 1 in 2 for Madrid whilst their front 3 was Benzema, Ronnie and Bale. Then 2 good years at Bayern who wanted to make the move permanent for €42m but he didn’t want it as Carlo had left. It was only last season under Zidane that he was hardly used.

He’s top notch and I think being the top dog with us will suit him.

I hope you are right and I'm proven totally wrong. He is still a big name and let's face it we need the feel good factor after such a ****e season.

You must be ****ing joking. I've followed the blues since I was indoctrinated as a baby in the 80's.
And to save any more confusion, I'm referring to the real blues not that ****e down the east lancs.
LMAO sorry mate, I’ve no idea how I concluded you were a City fan but it must have been beards ago. <laugh>

Did you know? Rodriguez has created more goalscoring chances for Everton in the Premier League this season than any other player (10), setting up three more at the weekend.

and not a penny in transfer fee.

He’s past it mate. He’ll never adapt to this league.

A very good window for us overall I think. Shame United blocked us from taking Romero at the death, as I think he could have been a vital cog. However, we’ll see if Olsen is anything more than yet another bench warming keeper.

I think we’re left exposed up front with Kean’s departure though & I wonder if we’ll move for someone like King in the coming days, who can play anywhere across the front 3.
