On the one hand I can't believe Everton would appoint a new manager with no Premier League experience (or similar in another country). On the other, there seems to be an emerging pattern developing: Ferguson (a Scot) recommends that Moyes (a Scot) should be the next Man U manager. Moyes (a Scot) recommends that Malky (a Scot) should be the next Everton manager. Continuing the line of thought: Malky (a Scot) will recommend that Alex McLeish (a Scot) should be the next Cardiff manager. Simples.

To be fair, I think Alky has done a better than decent job rebuilding after ditching their 'craplacticos'were farmed out. If Everton want as near to a like for like replacement, they could do a lot worse.
