Got the monkey off the back.
Bakayoko & Morata aren't match fit and can only get better.
Batters has played his last game for us. Had high hopes for him but enough is enough. Move on Batters. Hope Cescy does the same, still the window is very young to harbor a nice move to Italy.
Christensen deserves a good run in our first 11. Hope he doesn't get Ake treatment and gets shipped to Brighton for 25M pounds <doh>.

Morata needs to fire those goals to put pressure on opposition and gain immense psychological edge
Sincerely hope Cescy doesn't start, but won't be surprised if Conte goes with the following.

And please stop referring to Fabregas as Cescy.
It's bad enough when people refer to players by their first names, like they are friends, without adding a "y" to the end of it.

Batters shows no gut or guile. Not sure he can prosper. I will be glad if I am wrong. unfortunately I don't see a way were I can be wrong - again.
 
Bats is actually getting half a chance now since the Costa saga and with Morata not fit. But he has been poor in pre season and the last 2 league games.

The striker situation is a worry for sure.
 
Theres talk of us bidding for Vardy. Wouldnt mind that depending on the price.
Cant see Leicester wanting to sell this late in the window tho. They wont have much time to find a replacement now if they sold him
 
Vardy would only suit us if Fabregas played, I think he'd score a hatful.

Think I'd stick Luiz back in defence at the weekend for Rudiger and maybe stick Pedro in and go back to the usual system.

Probably right, Rudiger looked better as the game wore on, which is exactly what you"d expect, and showed enough to suggest he will be a very good buy. He"s got all the attributes, just needs time to settle in with his teammates. Bakayoko looked even more promising and considering his lay off and fitness levels, he also looks an excellent prospect. I'm thinking it might not be a bad idea to stick with last game team , see how it goes. We know they can defend, and if Bakayoko can provide some service for Morata, expect some goals. If not, bring on Fabregas as we often do, and Pedro ,who really is playing well enough to start. I agree that Christensen should start, he was pretty well up to speed from the off and can only get better. Problem is, Luiz is better in a central position than on the side, so can Christensen play right back with Azpi on the left?? Food for thought.

I want Luiz back in centre of Defence personally. So I'd have Rudiger/Christensen one side and Dave the other. Moses and Alonso as full backs.

Kante and Bakayoko in the middle.

Then Morata flanked by Pedro and Willian

Pretty difficult to argue with that, Rudiger is perhaps the one "newbie" who could go onto the bench, the 2 young kids both deserve to keep their places for me. Anyway, nice to at least have some choice , pre Spurs we looked threadbare, but all 3 new players took their chances, while poor old Michy looked lost and not up to the job yet again. He must be close to losing the confidence of management now; he's had a few chances and only looked the goods when it didn't matter.

i actually prefer luiz to be not in the central position. I guess the i might be wrong as the central guy normally is the one who sweeps up and the 2 either side are the ones that mark, but with most teams playing 1 up top its normally the central guy who is marking and we know Luiz lacks concentration when being zonal.

However in the centre luiz doesn't get to take the ball out much and normally has the least touches and doesn't get to push up as much. We know how good he is on the ball so surely it makes sense for him to be on the ball more?

One last thing the centre CB is normally the one to make the final last ditch tackle and theres been quite a few times Luiz has messed that up only for Dave to have been amazing and come back in time to save his blushes.
 
Everton are a very good side and may be darkhorse for top 4.
But they have played City on Monday, traveled to Croatia for EL match Thursday and visiting the Bridge on Sunday.

We cannot ask for anything better. We need to take all 3 points.
Start Cescy and throw away points Tony.

Typo in a way but I just left it. I read saved his bacon instead if saved his blushes. I think it important bacon should be saved.
