It's still possible for either of the other two teams to finish above us, even if all three of their matches aren't won by them . . . . have a look :emoticon-0100-smile

e.g. as I said earlier, if we lose ours it only takes one of the other two to win their remaining fixture(s) . . . . not both :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Whilst I appreciate all this positive thinking, we should all remember that this is Sunderland.
For as long as I have supported them ( 1957 ) they have consistently let us down when it matters, apart from 1973 of course.
It would be absolutely fantastic to beat Everton and go into party mode for the weekend especially after killing two birds with one stone, Canaries and Magpies, but deep down I know that it won't happen like that and we'll be biting our nails on Sunday, it just wouldn't be Sunderland otherwise, it's the way we do it.

So I've had a look Gordon and I'm definitely not going loopy!

If we lose on Wednesday, the mags still have to win their 1 game to get past us.

If we lose on Wednesday, Norwich, 4 points behind us, still have to win both their games to get past us!

    That's what I said earlier! <doh>

But if we win on Wednesday these posts will all be pointless and we won't give a ****! <ok>

Mate, it's cos you used the word 'combined' meaning both teams would have to win all of their games.

It's cool, we know you're not a nugget and we know what you meant, now. <ok>
