Bony and his agent put a release clause on his signature . Him and his agent can casually talk behind the scenes all they want . Once the figure is met , Bony and his agent hold ALL the cards and are the ones who can make demands , not rocket surgery .
Doesn't mean they have to give permission to the perspective buying club though a la Suarez last season with the 1 pence debacle.
Release clause ... sorry gents . Once Bony and his agent can secure the release clause amount , they hold all the cards
I agree to an extent though I think the point that's being made is that some tapping up has gone on here. Not sure if it's true or not, and I'd like to see the evidence of that before passing judgement. Liverpool and Rodgers do have a history of doing it though. In fairness to Bony and his agent they've both been pretty open about his desire to play Champions League football haven't they? Re tapping up I'm not sure if "everyone does it". Easy to say, less easy to substantiate imo. Even so, that doesn't make it right.
Maybe they have, but if they offer enough, then Huw won't care. And they will offer enough. Forget about Bony - he's gone.
bony was gone when the season finished, most fans worked that out. It's Davies we really need to keep, it will be a huge blow if we lose him even with taylor on board...
Goals win games , we have enough players to defend whereas without Bony last season have a guess what our goal count would have been .
Boundy, that is spot on, I worry where we are going to get enough goals from next year. Just ask Cardiff and Norwich fans what lack of goals can do for you. By the way I saw boundy in Mumbeles yesterday. So he does still lurk.
That depends who we would have had instead of him. We might have had someone that scored even more. It's not simply a case of deducting the goals he scored.
Dont say was, he aint gone yet. But you are right, we forget how good he is in the air defensively. I think the thing is i could actually deal with him going abroad, but to see see him on MotD every week scoring goals for another PL club and then playing at The Liberty for somone else is what is the hardest to deal with.
