I'm going for goals and sticking with the players who performed last week. McCarthy Cedric Vestergaard Hoedt Bert Hojb Lemina Redmond Ings Elyounoussi Gabbi 2-3 Saints I know one thing for sure, our first team absolutely does not pick itself and MH is going to earn his keep this season.
I would go with this side against Everton. McCarthy Stephens Vestergaard Hoedt Bert Romeu Lemina Jwp Armstrong Ings Gabbi JWP plus Vestergaard equals goals....
There must be real pressure on managers to play new players....not just to justify their purchase...but to have a chance of seeing how they fit into the side. This leaves players who might have got game time previously as onlookers...because chances become fewer if the new players bed in. Why would a manager change things even if the player on the bench is as good as the player on the field...injury remains their only chance.
4231 Alex Cedric Jannik Wes Ryan Oriel Mario Stu Danny Nath Charlie or Gabbi PEH and Ely to come on later
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/16...-kept-on-our-toes-says-jack-stephens/?ref=rss Jack Stephens talking about how the players have to be at their best because of competition throughout the squad and the need to avoid being in the same situation as last season.
The deflection didn't annoy me half as much as the ref first ignoring the blatant foul on Reds, then allowing Everton to take the incorrect decision free kick 15 yds from where it supposedly happened. Its still annoys me now!
However, if we had got those two extra points, I think we would have lost to the swans (as would have played not to lose), which would have put them 1 point ahead and we would be talking about playing in the Championship this year. And how really pissed off would we be to yet relegated by the last kick of the ball against City...
Causality and the Butterfly effect. Prepare to splinter!* *a Brucie bonus for the first one to get that reference
Alex Cedric jann wes bertrand Lemina Armstrong Gab redmond Mo Ings Maybe easier to play that at home though
McCarthy, Cedric, Yoshida, Vestergaard, Bertrand, Romeu, Lemina, Elyounoussi, Armstrong, Redmond, Ings.
Hoping you stuff these muppets on the weekend and ings has a blinder of a season the lad deserves a break after his injury hell, looked fit during pre season with us and when he came on last game for you, wish him all the best top lad
I know we won't see it but this is my favourite starting XI with everybody fit (I quite like a 4-4-2) Alex Cedric Vestergaard Hoedt Bertie JWP Pierre Armstrong Mo El Ings Gabbi Subs Gunn Stephens (for versatility) Maya/Bednarek Lemina Redmond Long Chaz It's got energy, creativity and a good balance and two good finishers and i'm not really a fan of the modern CDM sitting in front of the back four.
