Stupid choice. Anyone would have done better than Mourinho. Jenas sums it up quite well, just a knee jerk reaction which made no sense because they had deliberately set things up so the next manager would get an easy bounce. Best possible choice for Man Utd is Rafa, by an absolute mile.
I hope Liverpool win the league, but I hope they do it without any help from us. As long as we beat Fulham I'm alright with anything else. Preferably we win all three games 7-0. I don't think Pep will allow this title to slip away. I think Man City are on a cliff edge here. This derby game could be the single biggest game for 10 years. If Man C win I think all will be well and they will refocus to try for the CL next season. I think it would have a demoralising effect on Liverpool, particularly if combined with a CL exit in the semis. However if Man C lose and Liverpool go on to win the title, I think you'd see some petulance from Pep. Would he have the stomach to go again? When jobs have got stressful he has walked away immediately. Liverpool winning the league I think would lift a burden for them. It would also make them dangerous for Barca.
