Off Topic Ever crashed a nice car?

    Never crashed one but nearly had an embarrassing moment damaging somebody else's. Went to test drive a TVR. I was sat in the driver's seat and couldn't work out how to open the door from the inside as there were no door handles in the usual place. The seller told me you had to twist a gadget in between the front seats. I obviously turned it the wrong way as the passenger door opened. The car was parked on a road that tilted quite a lot to the left. The door shot open very quickly and missed a lamp post by millimetres. Had it connected with the lamp post it would have left a lovely fat dent in the door. Never bought the car as the annual insurance on it was astronomical!

    it says datsun... how would a young fella know seeing they all rusted within 2 months.

    perhaps they were awesome in that two months but.... well.....

    A bit like 80's Alfa's, go to bed and there'd be a gleaming Cloverleaf on your drive, get up the following morning and there was a pile of rusty iron filings.
