Evans - manager ( or ex ? )

Apparently Evans has been tipped by the bookies to be Doncaster's next manager.

If Evans is as passionate about his position at Gills as he claims - now would be a very good time to make a public statement to dispel the rumour - he has nothing to lose by telling us fans that he is fully committed to The Gills - and he would probably win a few fans over with such a statement..............
...... but - we all know just how much loyalty there is in football !

Whilst I can understand that Evans has no need to dignify such speculation with a response - I just thought that he would gain a lot of credibility with Gills fans if he came out with an assurance that he is going nowhere (( he is still in the infancy of a honeymoon period at GFC ))......... just saying !

Presumably he's under contract, so we'd be due compensation if he is poached.

Might be the best deal we'll do this summer
