This would be great news if he does sign as we can start building a great foundation for next season knowing who we will have available. I'm basing my comment on the fact that I think we won't get promoted this season as we have too much to make up but who knows. If we don't, I'm sure we'll be pushing for automatic promotion next season.
 
I really like him, he gets things done without been noticed. It says a lot about the staff that 3 Man utd youngsters have joined.

Hearing this news & thinking of the future.

Imagine going back into the Premier League having probably the youngest experienced back four in our history. Most ex Manky Chester youth & reserve lads who know how to play football to feet.

Now that i would definitely like to see, not doing too bad in the other depts too by the looks if Evans signs & this Akpan kid is any good, im off tonight to see whether he is as good as they say he is, fingers crossed.

Watch out you premier league boys the Tigers will be roaring again soon. Another breath of fresh air coming to the Premier league near YOU !!

I was thinking the same thing today, if we went up next season, we would have the youngest squad by far. Hope Akpan is a talent, wouldn't be surprised to see him signed at the end of the season. Will have to work for it though, NP is hard to please. If anybody is going down to Ferriby, could you post the result/stand out players on here as I am in Leicester and cba to travel to Church Lane tonight :P
