The first time I heard the winning song it sounded and looked quite good for Eurovision..... the second time was barely listenable :(

I am afraid Bonnie Tyler had no chance. Mind you I quite liked the Irish song so I cant speak ;)

I did manage to stay awake though until half way through the judging this year ;)
 
Interesting what would happen to it if we pulled out in protest at countries always giving their maximum points to neighbours. We're one of the main contributors with TV money which is why we never have to go through the semi final stage earlier in the week.

Exactly.... I am afraid it is a contest that no longer has any musical meaning... like various.... ahem....X factor and equivalents..... there is such a broad base of ... ahem... talent..... the winners are by no means the best....

UKIP is apparently urging an opt out but the Tories are not all singing from the same song sheet...<laugh>
