Possibly the worst aspect of our game tonight was Pickford's distribution and kicking. So many kicks went to nowhere or out to touch.
Obviously he made some good saves too.

I was surprised about that, too. I think the UEFA president told him to blow there and then!
Bit harsh, certainly not our weakest link tonight.
I don't begrudge him for not saving the 2 Spain goals. But his kicking was very poor tonight.
They couldn't play it out from the back against Spain, which is understandable. But we really needed him to be better with his kicks.
Anyway, I'm not blaming him for the loss. The whole team could have been a bit better. I'm just saying the distribution from goalkeeper was the biggest thing holding us back tonight, imo.
