It's all so so slow again. Zero attacking threat down the left and Foden dropping back onto halfway all the time. Kane just jogging around not getting into goalscoring positions. For this system to be successful, Gordon on for Trippier, Palmer for Foden and Watkins for Kane. Need runners going in behind them and Gordon to stretch the play ! Southgate is just thick
Think England have been a touch better, but still too conservative. Foden playing more right side but still doing little. I'd have Eze on for him, but yeh I'm biased.
BBC pundits obviously been told to be more positive, as apparently they think everyone was brilliant in the first half. They were better, and are playing a better team than they have before. But not brilliantly…..They didn’t talk about Kane, who seems both slow and permanently in the wrong place.
