Belated congratulations FLT. Sorry I didn't mention it at the time. Just shows that being good at the game doesn't always translate into being able to talk intelligently about it Only joking. Seriously, amazing.
Yes, congratulations FLT. Your parents must have been bursting with pride, I know mine would have if I'd been honoured like that. I think it's a shame that international footballers don't wear their caps during matches, it would be diverting to see those tassels flying.
Excellent achievement, FLT. As you know, I had two chances to play for Southampton and screwed them both. The only evidence I have is in my memory. At least you got something to remember your achievement.
Thanks chaps (long time ago now). U'18 England Schools. Played against Wales, Scotland and Switzerland. Good point above Chilco. My mum (RIP) was beside herself and I remember my Dad told me a few days after the first game that he was proud of me. This was the first positive thing he'd ever said to me I remember it well as I was 17. I keep that cap tucked away in a draw.
Too true Lff One could also say that it just shows that you don't have to be good at the game to get an England cap #carltonpalmer #geoffthomas #keithcurle
That's the reason Kylie won't have me... I don't have the bald spot she's looking for. Everything else was there, including the belly
