I’m a United fan who lives in Surrey. I definitely know more locals who are Liverpool fans compared to the number of United fans. Most of the ****s support Chelsea or Arsenal. Ironically, the Arsenal fans would put their wives on the game if it meant they didn’t have to go to North London.
I've been down to The Dell for a Monday (work day also) night game pal, you're moaning about **** all. A little Christmas holiday's trip to London, suck it up man. The trip to the Dell wasn't from Surrey by the way.
Tuesday night to Norwich in the league cup to watch us lose one nil then drive back was my all time favourite however.
I think its more the point of not having a game on Boxing Day. For the second time in three years too.
Boxing Day football is sacred though, or it should be. How many family rows have been prevented due to spending two hours in the freezing cold wondering if anyone is ever going to score a ****ing goal? Either that or cold turkey with the outlaws, it's what Christmas is all about.
Actually watching us beat Norwich 1-0 in the most boring game in League Cup history, on the coldest night in living memory, might have been worse. I have never celebrated a 91st minute goal like that, purely because I couldn't bear the thought of sitting through penalties.
The giant clubs wouldn't be giant any more, can't see the fans continuing ther support of these clubs when they're getting humped 4 or 5 -0 every week and spend 5 years languishing in the bottom 3, beating Burnley, Bournemouth or Cardiff away is a bit different to beating the likes of Juventus, Bayern, Real Madrid & Barcelona
How would relegation work? Would Arsenal, being a dead cert for relegation in the inaugural season of the Super League, be relegated to the Championship? If they think they're being shoehorned back into the Prem, on which they turned their snide backs, the can fcuk right off, son!
According to the leak the 11 Founder Clubs would be guaranteed 20 years without relegation. Interesting that three of them, PSG, Arsenal and Man City, have only won one UEFA trophy each. Not sure how this qualifies them for a super league.
The idea that Arsenal should even be considered for inclusion in a Super League is preposterous! It's typical of that club to plan this kind of caper behind everyone's backs. Remember when little Walnut was plotting in the dressing room to get rid of Wenger? I think the FA should kick the treacherous snides out of the Prem right now.
that game was buzzing compared to our 1999 league cup final win over Leicester...****ing me was that tedious...the only thing memorable was Savage being a ****y diver to get a Justin Edinbugh a red card and our last minute winner...was a typical Bloke In A Coat boring match
