Yet another predictions league, and a chance for those who have been left behind in the other two. There have been some predictions on another thread of how the Champions League will pan out - here is the place to test those ! A short predictions league which includes the Quarter, Semi and final stages of the 2 European competitions and a chance for us to get to know some of our future opponents before we storm into Europe next year (or the year after). Many fixtures here will be well known ones - to help, Villareal v Valencia may not send the pulse racing but it is a local derby. The points system is roughly similar to the WPL:

15 points for a perfect score eg. Liverpool v Porto 3-0, and you actually tip 3-0.
3 points for a correct result eg. Liverpool v Porto 3-0, and you actually tip 1-0
8 points if you get the score difference correct eg. 3-0 against 4-1
These points remain the same regardless of home wins, away wins or draws.

Important is the actuall scoreline after 90 minutes (ie. normal time) - what happens subsequently in extra time of second leg matches is irrelevant. You are not required to tip a winner of each tie - just the scorelines and if you have tipped eg. Ajax v Juventus 2-1 then this applies only to the first leg. You can then change your tip for the second leg as required.

Points totals for matches double for the Semis and then again (x4) for the finals.
In addition there is a 50 point bonus for picking the winner of the competition if you do it prior to the Quarter final stage. Here are the fixtures for the 9th/10th/11th of April:
