Results and round up.


Latvia are the last League One side standing after a 2-1 away in at Championship outfit Hungary. The other major shock came in Russia, where the Premier League side were knocked out by Championship Albania.
Two Premier League sides needed extra time to finish off lower league opponents, with Bosnia avoiding a disaster against League One Lithuania and Belgium ending the brave resistance of Championship Slovenia.
As for the home nations, England avoided the banana skin in Armenia and Scotland thrashed Kazakhstan. Northern Ireland were well beaten in Serbia while Wales put up a brave fight against Italy.

Three League One sides have made it into Round Three, with the possibility of landing a Premier League side. Belarus beat Northern Ireland and Cyprus beat Lithuania in the all League One ties, while Georgia provided the only shock by hammering Championship Iceland in Reykjavík

I'd say England are ranked way too highly, but that would be obvious. I think Portugal are probably too high too. Then again, they're only 4 points ahead of 14th.

Belgium are definitely too low.

 

I agree England are too high. Also I think Rusia [they lost against Northern Ireland recently]. I would have expected Norway and Switzerland to be in the bottom three. The big shock for me though is the Faroe Islands at the top of League One!

Here's the latest Premier League table, with seven games remaining in the 'season'. It's a bit embarrassing if you ask me. Whoever wrote the program clearly has a bias toward England, who are far too high up. Also, Ukraine bottom? They shouldn't be and neither should Belgium be in the relegation zone IMO.

That aside, the relegation battle looks amazing, with only two points separating Belgium [16th] and Montenegro [12th], with only another 3 to Denmark in 8th.
