Not voting... for a number of reasons. Mainly because I've recently moved and don't fancy the 300 mile trip to get to a polling station where I could actually vote.

Also, my ignorance/lethargy toward politics is something that has always stopped me as I don't feel anywhere near comfortable enough with the level of understanding of each party and their (supposed) policies.

So that is why you will never see/hear get involved in political discussions as I don't have an opinion to bring to the table.. In fact this is probably the 1st political opinion I have put forward.

The daft thing about policies is everyone knows UKIP's views on Europe and immigration, but does anybody know their policies on education, the NHS or the welfare system?

Thought not!

The media constantly bang on about how UKIP are a threat to the Tory vote! This is of course true but UKIP pose an even bigger threat to the traditional Labour vote which is made up from the predominately white working class! Labour turned its back on the white working class voters back in the Blair years to focus on the ethnic/immigrant vote! No one else will speak for these people who now feel let down and ignored and of course UKIP is the perfect home for them! Labour should be just as worried about UKIP as the Tories because you will see tonight that UKIP will be challenging in the Labour heartlands just as much as in the traditional Tory heartlands. The Lib Dems are now a complete irrelevance!

No, i don't (well, not enough to vote for them in the generals) - but i do know their policies on Europe, which is what i will be voting for tonight - which is what it's about. The generals are completely different to the euros.

Tell me a party in Government that has ever stuck to one of their election manifesto promises in the first place! <doh>

Also gone UKIP. All this " racist " party rubbish the main three - actually let me correct that, main two, the Liberal Democrats are thank heavens finished about racism is sheer drivel and fortunately the nation isn't buying that.

I know of several other UKIP policies so happy to give them my vote. Certainly wouldn't ever catch me voting for " give benefits to everyone and bankrupt the country " Labour that's for sure!

I don't usually reveal who I vote for, but everyone else on here has so what the hell! I also had a small wager ( £15 @ 4/11 ) on UKIP this morning.

Great post I have just seen on Facebook, sums it up pretty well <laugh><ok>

Just voted. Don't think I've ever seen a longer voting slip - more like a voting scroll. At least 15 parties. Apart from the usual three & the Greens, most of the others seemed to be a choice about whether you wanted your fascism clothed, semi-clothed or naked...

Well whoever has voted UKIP apparently is sub-human racist scum according to the lefties.

People can label me what they want - I've just lived in Thailand for seven months, I certainly am not racist. UKIP will certainly be getting my vote as the main two parties ( Lib Dems are finished ) I have absolutely so little time for.

Seems quite a lot of people agree with me also!

Rest of results in Sunday.........!

What you need to consider is UKIP's tax policy.A flat rate 31% over all income ranges. So if you gross pay is now £25k you pay three grand.Under UKIP that rises to £4650 - thirty quid a week extra.Meanwhile a banker with a million pound bonus picks up a cool ninety grand extra.

Voting UKIP has got feck all to do with racism...and i find it insulting to be labelled a racist for voting UKIP.
I don't care if you're black, white, brown, green, yellow, pink or whatever...i don't care if you're muslim, buddhist, an islamist, jewish, orthodox or christian..i don;t care if you come from Poland, Romania, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Auustralia or Timbuktoo. What i do care about is that our poor little island cannot cope with the amount of people coming in in droves..our infrustructure can't handle it, our housing can't handle it, our schools can't handle it, and there is not enough welfare to go to people that genuinely need it. We need to stop the EU from dictating to us and telling us what we HAVE to do..this is our country, and our rules..if you don't like it, then feck off!
