It was a cracking goal from Harry Kane. Personally I'd like to see both Spurs and Everton go a long way in the Europa League, just as a distraction from the PL.

Extraordinary goal by Lamela. He struck it with his left foot the wrong side of his right. Brilliant.

My feelings exactly!!!! I would love one of them (preferably Everton) to go all the way and win it rather than a Champions League drop out!!!!!

Witty reply CBK!! On a serious note do you not think it was an over reaction by the French police as Everton are not noted for having a large number of hooigans, they were policing themselves, and had officers from Merseyside observing their behaviour. There appears to be some police forces that have no idea how to police a large following of fans from an English club. I am quite confident German and Dutch police would have policed it differently and would have been in close contact with their Merseyside counterparts throughout!!!! At least the French waiters were more sympathetic towards those affected by the tear gas so well done to them!!!

Since I saw La Haine, I don't have a good view on French policemen.

Well if Spurs are not going to put him higher than 3rd choice I wouldn't mind insisting Kane be included in any deal if Spurs come in from any of our players. Either we get a good player who could play with or instead of Pelle or they refuse (and therefore we can then say "not interested then")

    Wishful thinking I suppose.

Hat trick now means surely he will start for them soon

Kane now in goal following Lloris' red card. Lets in a routine free kick. Oh well, we wouldn't want him as a goalie.

Did you see MPs non-reaction to Lamela's goal? Looked like he was well pee'd off with someone trying out tricks in a game. Maybe he thought passing back to a DM was the preferred option.

Starting to get pissed off with skysports now....they keep fawning over "the wonder goal" last night , asking is it the best goal you have ever seen?
Answer is its a very good goal, but nowhere near the best. For me the Di Canio strike for west ham was much much better.

A City win will give them hope after the early draw between CSKA and Roma.
