I think the Russians had a bet on themselves to lose judging by the way they threw the game when they played them. The goalie even dived out of the way for Bale's goal.
Combination of Welsh nerves and NI being set up extremely well by their Manager This could be a more difficult match than the QF - if we get through. Can't imagine any other team setting themselves up to stop us - other teams will fancy themselves to beat us, and will leave space for us to attack. If we score first today, I think we will win. If they score, they will be extremely difficult to break down. The way it's going, this will go to penalties
I forgot to add that England didn't score enough goals despite having 79 attempts at goal over the three games.
Have to say O'Neill is tactically on top in this game, he's set them up ideally. Wales need to get Ramsey and Bale into more attacking positions...
Game livening up now, I think there may be a few chances as both sides tire in an intense match. Bale cleverly won that free kick but good save by McGovern...
