Doesnt the winner of the fair play league get a place aswell? How does that one work?

From my understanding of this, the Fair-play league is all of europe combined. Don't think any of the English teams are anywhere near the bottom of this though

The Fair Play league is worked out by overall points for each nations league in europe, the lowest scoring 3 leagues then are obliged to nominate their lowest scorer (who hasn't already qualified for europe via league position)

So if Germany, England and France had the best disciplinary records as a collect, each nation would be obliged to nominate their best disciplined team (who hadn't already qualified via their own league position)

Good lord, looks like we are well and truly rogered then! Cant see us getting into 5th, and it's not unlikely that Arsenal/Man U v Man city will be a Semi fixture...

Gotta say, i didn't know the FA went to the looser in the final if the winner was in Europe and the loser was not.

If Birmingham get to the final and play either Man City, Arsenal or Man Utd, it would still go to 6th place right? Seeing as Birmingham have now already qualified for Europe.

yeh , it has to be 2 teams in the final that have already qualified for europe by other means (league/cc )for there to be a '6th spot' europa league place
