None of us on the United board wanted or thought we should be in the Europa League, hell our team played like they felt the same way. We also beat Ajax in the first round of knockouts, something you have yet to accomplish.
So diddums United did not get to play Champions League every season. Get over it. I've seen Chelsea get relegated twice, we lost 6-0 to Rotherham for FFS.
United will beat Madrid. I bet Madrid were buzzing when they found out they were going to be playing the worlds biggest, most supported and most loved football club. A trip to the worlds most famous club stadium, the home of the home of footballs greatest club. Bet they are worried though. Facing a team thats strolled into the Council House, The Bridge and Anfield and walked of with all the points. Being United we'll gift them a few goals but RvP is booked in for an aggregate hattrick so bad news for Madrid.
Let's hope so United don't freeze like the last time they played the galacticos and were out of the tie 45 mins into the first leg. Or when they went 3-0 down at home v Raul & co and embarrassed the premiership.
