Greece or Finland for me but i suspect that we could get one from ROI or Scotland.

Aberdeen away would be fine as we could fly from Humberside on a day return basis.

For £310 on a 20 seat Jetstream... sure many City fans will be doing that! Think Tiger Travel will bloody run if we were in Scotland.

Want an Irish game for a day return - £18 return flights Manchester > Dublin or £38 Leeds Bradford to Dublin return.

Agreed, we should be beating Scottish sides. To be fair looking at the list on the previous page, we could/should beat most teams if we are seeded!

My mistake. St.Johnstone is fine for Aberdeen airport though.

Dont think i fancy Tiger Travel or driving upto to Perth in July so the plane is a good option if it has to be so.

We would beat either of them for sure. If it is Motherwell then Glasgow airport will do.

Just looked up July 31st (I think that's when the game is), and it's £308.52. Even myself, a keen traveller, wouldn't shell out THAT much when the train/coach could be a cheaper option. There's a coach from Hull to Glasgow (National Express) if I remember rightly, and there must be a further connection North.

If we make it to the group stages then the 3 away days will get very interesting.

I wonder if TT will charter a plane for example ? But to do it by road is a long and tedious process. The train is an option as well.

A trip here would be great, we would also get a lot of local support as well. If you need advice on pubs and accomodation etc just ask

If we get a game in Ireland then you are this forums agent and solely responsible for sourcing and booking everyone's accommodation as well as finding pubs for us to attend and organising a party.

And Stevie Bruce must be there.

And entry requirement must be vodka and charlie.

We find out who we play 13 days before the game. Bit short notice to arrange hotels/flights for our European adventures.
Do you think Tiger Travel will be part of the package?

Aberdeen are in(just looked again) from the First quali. round with Motherwell and St.Johnstone(Perth) in from the 2nd qualy round.
But i dont see Aberdeen getting to where we shall be. But i do fear a trip to Scotland could well be on.
    twt...

Very true and it will be very interesting to see what Tiger Travel do for these games if anything. A trip to say Aremnia - Moldova - Georgia as examples may well be the best way forward.

Monchengladbach for me please, as I wouldn't mind a trip back to my place of birth. Oh and before anybody starts getting racist, I was born in a British Military Hospital to a British father but I do have the misfortune of having a German mother. So maybe it's me that's being racist. <whistle>

Nice city though from what I can remember but not been back for about 30 years, so probably overdue a visit.

I know where your coming from my uncle was an Army Sergeant in Berlin, where my cousin was born, both avid city fans.

I'm glad you know where I'm coming from as I told you in my previous post! Sorry couldn't resist. :embarrassed:

Yeah my Mother wouldn't even ask who I would be supporting, as she knows it's no contest. I have been to see Borussia play a few times when I was younger and keep an eye on their results and league position but that's as far as it goes. It's been City for me for the last 45 years and it certainly wouldn't be about to change now, although I might have been tempted during some periods in our past!

Do the losing teams from the CL qualifiers drop into the EL Group stages? I know that the 3rd place team drops into the EL next year after the CL Group stages. I'm thinking if Arsenal lose their qualifier, unlikely, or finish 3rd, they could end up playing us in the later rounds if everything goes well.
