but it was a draw away from home so all we had to do was score more than them at anfield. it didnt make any dif if it was a 1-1 or a 0-0 as we won at home was what mattered.
But if we didn't score it's 1-0 to them and then we have to win by 2 goals rather than the 1? yes if you draw away and win at home makes no difference, but if we draw 1-1 and going into last 10 mins 1-0 up of 2nd leg is back us to go through more than if it we drew 0-0 and then were 1-0 up. If gives you that safety net.
We need to score over there, for sure. We saw from Dortmund that a decent team will score at Anfield. ****, even Ausburg were unlucky not to score. Only utter ****e like United never looked like scoring away to us.
Did you really post this ffs. Obviously a 1-1 is better than a 0-0 but neither result still makes a dif if we do the business at anfield and win.
TBH I have only seen them a few times earlier in the season and they looked good then, I tend to just watch the big 3 in the Spanish league (and Eibar) on a regular basis.
They've 5 points on 5th place with 3 to play. they are nearly assured of 4th and a cl spot. So they I think are totally focused on the europa
Because I had never heard of them until last season, their ground at the time was amazing opening onto the gardens of nearby flats and they put up a real fight against all the top clubs to stay in the top league. Bit of an underdog thing I suppose.
I have a gut feeling he'll play Lucas at CB for this. He's done it before and he clearly isn't sold on Skrtel. So typical that we're down to bare bones for what is such an important game.
What are villa real like? Are they a ground team with pace or an aerial team? we are light in CM too... I can see the logic on lucas at CB
