Man Utd condemn offensive chants (but only after the UEFA referee report mentioned them?)

 

Got to say that I was at the game, on the Kop, and I couldn't hear the Man Utd fans at any time during the game. We drowned them out for 90 minutes, I'm really surprised that the chants were so obvious on TV/Radio, I think it shows that the atmosphere on the TV depends so much on where the microphones are placed. Dunno how anyone in the other stands felt about the atmosphere? It was pretty much non stop on the kop.

 

TBF they were never going to do it before and encourage UEFA action.

 

Said this yesterday. During YNWA alone on BT the mancs sounded almost as loud until they switched to the tunnel cam and mic. Then all you could hear was YNWA.

I didn't really notice it last night because I was chatting away as well as watching but watched the BT replay today and it's clear as day on several occasions.

And it wasn't just a few it was most of them because they went on to sing an actual manc song straight after at one point and you could hear a hell of a lot less voices in that song compared to the murder crap.

More like a quick violation on a packed tube train...they got off feeling dirty and full of guilt....

Scholes had a face like a ginger smacked arse on BT sport lol Pallister Cole and I wins were the same in the crowd but less ginger...

 

Good luck to this Man Utd defence keeping a clean sheet and pushing enough men forward to score 2+ goals is all I say.

WTF were Spurs doing playing a weekend side v Dortmund away? They have Villa next don't they? Could have played the fringe players against them surely?

They might feel they have more chance of wining league than eufa and don't want to take any chances even though expect them to beat villa.

 

Karma says they lose against Villa. Spurs board will go into biggest meltdown seen on these boards.

 

All I can say is on 5 live I could only hear lfc crowd and it was amazing Ynwa before the game was longest and loudest I've heard in a long time.

You could hear the crowd second half getting behind the team when Utd changed formation too

 

best i've heard since 2005 for constant noise during the 2013-14 season Anfield could be loud but not for whole game like last night.
Always think midweek night matches tend to have a better atmosphere
