Anyhow, not that it matters as differing opinions are what make forums, just be careful you don't go down the same route as Ghoddle10 and pussy out of any debate when it gets challenging.

 

With reference to the amount of dross., just let me say., 'it is not down to me to educate or indeed challenge you'...... You really havn't offered me anything much to challenge.

Bajan, with all due respect, someone that shys a debate, isn't able to "educate me", in fact no one can educate me on football related topics, and nor would I suggest I could educate someone, as differing opinions are what make debate, although I challenged you to debate and you back downed, which is a shame.

So I'll ignore the fact you're now attempting to be rude, as this is a match thread on tottenham v lyon, which has branched off into a debate on Dembele, and unless you want to carry on with the debate then using baseless throw away comments or turning this into a "personal chat" isn't going to help much, nor is it anything other forum users hope to see.

I have highlighted what I believe to be Dembele's best traits (post 466) (others have agreed subsequently)., Understand that I am NOT devaluing Modric in doing so., I don't know where you got that idea from and I equally don't know why I've become the one man hate campaign against Modric, in your eyes

Where did I say you "hated" Modric?

The only part which you may have been confused over, is this

If it helps, you can read it a few times and it may sink in, that I added a "?" at the end, presenting it as a question, however if you want to take it that I said you "hate" Modric then clearly thats your call, although as this is a forum and the key to forums are interaction then you could actually respond like an adult, if that isn't asking too much?

Also, as we're talking about people agreeing, I noticed PNP & Spurcar agreed with my assessment of Modric & Dembele, does that matter? well its always nice to have posters you respect agree with your posts, but are we here to score points by having people agree? no.

Also, if you stopped being overly sensitive then you would notice we actually agree on aspects of Dembeles qualities, however we disagree on others, mainly the aspect that Dembele has replaced Modric and we don't miss Modric.

Overall there wasn't an issue until you decided to go with the "complete dross" comment and shyed away from expanding, mainly because you clearly can't (or refuse to) explain yourself when under any sort of pressure.

Nice (but strange) tantrum you just had there, although if you paid attention you would see i've attempted to debate the point over dembele/modric and once again you shy away.

If you have grown a pair of balls over night then you can explain what was "complete dross".....?
