Platini won't be going to our 28th Nov. game then. I hear he does not like snow.

Someone could post their European ranking to see if we're good enough to feature among these European giants.

**** draw for us in terms of air miles.

All winnable though. Anzhi will obviously pose the biggest threat but seeing as they've sold most of their top players, I can't see them causing us much of a problem providing we play how we can. Home legs should be fielded with a relatively strong team, away legs, especially at Anzhi and Sheriff, should be squad and youngsters unless there's no League game on the weekend.

I can see the point of the Europa in terms of 'smaller' teams 'nations', getting a chance to play some of the bigger teams in Europe giving a boost to their domestic leagues. That's much like our FA Cup, but the fact is the CL failures will then drop in half way through makiing the initial draw and rounds farcical. I would rather they reverted the 'Champions' League to just champions and we had the rest in a Europa cup but in the absence of that at the very least just stop filling the later rounds of this comp with the other comps. failures.

    Completely agree.

UEFA could have a very good junior to the Champions League but allowing 3rd place failures in to the knockouts just makes a complete mockery of the competition.

Am I the only one that's really happy with the draw? Yes we've got some travelling to do, but we've got such a deep squad now, we'll be fine.
