Under moyes I expect us to win the Europa league if we qualify. Im far from his biggest fan but look at it this way. Relatively easy to win if you want it, euro cup, champions league qualification and a signal of intent (from moyes). If hes still here next season, it should be a priority (alongside the league).
So it doesn't matter who else is in the comp? As things stand I think you would find it difficult to win the EL
I do like the fact that it was Chelsea winning the competition that was the trigger for UEFA to decide it had been devalued so much they had to change the prize
Depends who we sign. If Moyes and Woodward are to be believed then we should be making some major investment. We'd better had. If so then we'd be one of the favourites to win it.
I guess only Liverpool would be a "big team" as they will not get past the 3rd qualifying round of the CL
The way they defend they won't even get into the CL league stages and if they do they won't get out of the group stages.. Skrtl grappling at every corner and pulling shirts is condoned by our refs but will be punished in Europe. Their CBs are even slower and more error prone than United's and that is saying something!! Can you imagine that they would have done if they had a reasonable defence? Tough luck for them, as by the time they get that sorted, the other top teams (United included hopefully!) would have improved.
Manchester United are playing so poorly under Moyes that I'd be surprised if you even managed to qualify for the Europa League! Moyes is total ****e man!
