I'd be greatly concerned if he had, I thought my old man got me it when he went to Italy...

It couldn't be clearer could it?

    Europa League stages

Of the three places in the UEFA Europa League available to English clubs the FA Cup winners enter at the Group Stage, the fifth-placed team in the Barclays Premier League enter at the Play-Off stage, and the Capital One Cup winners enter at the third qualifying stage.
In the event that the FA Cup winners have qualified for the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup runners-up qualify for the third qualifying stage of the UEFA Europa League. In this case the place with direct access to the Group Stage will be given to the club who finish in the highest position in the Barclays Premier League of the clubs qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.

But the Capital Cup winners also qualified for the Champions League, CB. So it isn't quite as clear is it!

This season, as Manchester City won the Capital One Cup and are likely to finish in the top four, their place will go to the club who finish sixth in the Barclays Premier League table.

How are you not getting this?

Sorry for getting riled, but this is getting to "fork handles" levels.

TOM - I've been on Hambledon 'Nightmare' Extra Stout Porter 5% all afternoon (weird football day), but even with one eye closed and a settling beef curry, I can see you're barking up the wrong tree. <cheers>

Fez, me and the beeb, but hey I'm not bothered if I'm right or wrong on this.

Hull City, Premier League, FA Cup Finalists and guaranteed Europa League.

That for me is the stuff of dreams.

A Rapid Vienna trip would be nice.

Or even a longer one, perhaps.

The point is that NO the BBC are not wrong at this moment we are ENTERED in the Group stage, unless we lose and then we move to the Q3 stage.

I may be wrong some of what I have posted but at least I read the OP, we are currently placed in the Group Stage. Just the same as Rio Ave FC.

The Group Stage is ours to lose.

Surely this is all irrelevant compared to the main issue of whether or not Liverpool will win the league?
