Just as an aside I played in a band as support for Gerry & the Pacemakers. The band was great. We opened up, they did their spot, everybody joined in a jam session then we adjourned to the bar and played synchronised falling down. Not Mr "I`m the star you`ll never walk alone" Marsden though. Didn`t want to mix with the underlings. Didn`t even mix with his own band. Arrogant arsehole.
You did right to drop him from your tour Pops. I wonder what he would have said if he knew that folks had only come to see you and not him. Still, I hope you are still satisfying your fans and are still touring the nursing homes where they can throw their knickers at you. Mind some of them ,might clag now.
Don't know if it has been said already, but that supposed Sunderland target a season or two ago 'Ever Banega' looked quality last night.
