East Broads area.
I thought this might test a few brains.
We need to pick a team for the Euro's!
You can only have 1 player from each of the below teams, all positions must be covered for a starting line up (4-4-2), they must of course all be English, the other 8 will be the subs and can be for any position.
You are the Manager!

ARSENAL
ASTON VILLA
BLACKBURN
BOLTON
CHELSEA
EVERTON
FULHAM
LIVERPOOL
MAN CITY
MAN U
NEWCASTLE
NORWICH
QPR
SPURS
STOKE
SUNDERLAND
SWANSEA
WBA
WIGAN
WOLVES

Have fun.

Tragically that is probably a better line-up than the one which will start the Euro's. Maybe you should consider a career change.

Haha I might take a few more coaching badges, I will take over after the next world cup. England will, once again dominate world football <cheers>

My Best Combination:

-----------------------------------------Foster------------------------------------------------

Richards---------------Cahill--------------------R.Bennett--------------------------Baines

-----------------------------------------Parker------------------------------------------------

Jarvis------------------Gerrard---------------------Oxlade-Chamberlain------------Sinclair

----------------------------------------Rooney-------------------------------------------------

Subs:

GK Kirkland (severe lack of options, will the rules permit me Robert Green instead?)
RB Ryan Taylor
CB Scott Dann (NOT SUB)
CB Zat Knight
CB Ryan Shawcross
CM Danny Murphy
CM Joey Barton (refuse to have Zamora as a principle, will rules permit me Joe Cole instead?) (NOT SUB)
FW Frazier Campbell (lack of options at Sunderland, will rules permit me Rickie Lambert/Jordan Rhodes instead?)
FW Darren Bent

Foster, Richards, Cahill, Shawcross, Baines, Parker, Jarvis, Gerrard, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sinclair, Rooney

Subs: Green, R.Taylor, Bennett, Murphy, J.Cole, J. Rhodes, Bent

This team would be Champions in a tournament amongst us Norwich fans. <somersault>

Great 1st XI, but I really do have to point out that besides Crouch the rest of the bench offers precisely zero threat!!!

Sadly there is very little to pick from in those teams. I would have Bent but he is injured and could have Campbell from Sunderland sadly very few options. In some ways it would be easier to do this for championship sides.

Blackburn, Fulham, Bolton, Wigan, Villa and Sunderland do not offer much in the way of good English players, whereas Norwich offer at the very least Ruddy and Holt.

It is actually quite amazing how few good English players some of these teams have. Whereas Norwich have a host of very good young English talent.
