It was oor maw that dished oot the punishment via the slipper or a hand across the back of the heid.

Oddly, it was oor dad we were afraid of even though he didn't lift a hand. If ma mam said wait till I tell yer dad what ye did I would truly be ****ting myself from his harsh look, his disappointment, and angry words.

They don't take any ****. My Ma picked me up on my lunch to go and vote. Shinner outside the polling station 'here's a list how you vote (1234 etc) My Ma told him she'll vote how she please thank you very much and went in and spoiled her vote.

    Raging she was.

I'm in a "posh" area, so it's hard to tell. i suspect Martina Anderson is getting most of the vote as the SDLP are in such a state locally their credibility is shot a bit. One thing is clear that SF are the most visible both here and in Donegal. Their electioneering pisses all over anyone else. I drive through a lot of Unionist areas on the way to work. I get the impression that they will get a decent turn out but are very split. Whether they have a chance or not, the Shinners are competing everywhere.

If they get a MEP in up there then there's a good chance they'll have a seat in every 'constituency' in the whole of Ireland! Some people won't like that, not one bit.

Thank **** that's over! No more withering looks from members of the public as you try to encourage them to vote, no more angry emails from nutters, no more confused simpletons wondering how the ballot paper works. etc.

    Oh wait, the referendum. Bollocks.

Is Nigel Farage the Harry Redknapp of British politics? The press seem to adore the pair of saggy faced chancers, and however many **** ups they make between them, both are guaranteed a decent headline or two. Still, with any luck Derby County will get elected and UKIP will fall back into obscurity and bankruptcy.

Considering there was a pile-up on the dual cabbage-way on the roads in to the polling station there wasn't mushroom once they all arrived.

Does Nigel Farage's dog have a bank account? I think we should be told.
