The only saving grace is Hojbjerg is in his Saints form a few years ago! Barn doors, cows ar*ses and frying pans.
Worst performance by any team in the competition so far. Lucky we were playing an average Denmark team. Can't even put it on Southgate. So many players just playing sh*t.
You definitely can put it on Southgate. The drive, the fire and the tactics all come from him. And he has none. At all.
We did look better when Gallagher came on. But it was so lethargic for most of the match. Not enough energy or pressing. Passing was off. Luckily we are still in a good position but that really wasn't good enough.
Kyle Walker really desperately grasping for something to take from that. The best teams don't allow the game to change. They change the game. And everything he is saying will tell the big teams England are not a threat.
While there is no excuse for lack of energy and tempo, I do think the pitch can be blamed for some of the disjointed passing. It clearly wasn't a good surface to play on. It was the same for both teams however, and Denmark had far more energy to their game.
