Absolutely i agree swap it about an use the busy energy of mount in a midfield role.
I think he has basically blown his argument about trent as hes played now 3 of his 4 right full and the 3 have been ****e and offered othing going forward and no width either.
Does southgate think he is guardiola? If so why are foden and sterling not really out wide to allow mount and Phillip's pile on.

Exactly. He brought Grealish on but stuck him out left where he hardly saw the ball. If you want a player to come on and influence the game, put him in a position that is influential
Genuinely can't think of one good thing (by which, I include a decent first touch) Sterling did. He literally ruined every attack he was involved in.
Shame really because he was playing very well not so long ago and I thought he could make a difference to the England team.
He looked exactly the same player as much of the time when he was with us, just spinning around, running into players, creating nothing, ball going out of play
Thing is, he was no different against Croatia but the media creamed all over him because he managed to score (tried his hardest to miss though)

He was just as bad v Croatia but for covered over by scoring.
he was praised for running in behind… but when he did he did nothing with it. Today there was no gap behind so he was even less effective.
Sancho is the form wide man in terms of goals and assists… can’t get a minute on the pitch.
It shows how much that City side flatter him really, easy to look good, better than you really are, surrounded by world class players
No idea why Southgate won't play Sancho. Well I do, it's just same old England, go with the usual names, fall into the same old patterns, also doesn't help that Southgate's a complete wet drip. They'll get out of the group but they'll go out in the first knock out stage.
I mean, because of this place I've been 'forced' into watching Turkey and England would struggle to get anything against them, which is saying something

Every time he got the ball today he gave possession away. Literally every single time.
I thought that prior to today but he shocked me by dropping Walker and Trippier (not because I thought they played well and were undroppable)
I'm not too fussed about Kane not getting dropped, there aren't really any credible alternatives. Rashford isn't a striker and Calvert-Lewin did well months ago, he's done ****all recently.
