This is why racism is a very complex issue. And why throwing around the word *racist* waters the whole thing down. Are you confusing accusing a white Male of racism with actual racism?
It's kinda be like saying people calling for justice for George floyd or being racists cos they say black lives matter not all lives matter.
Jebus, this thread got serious….This is what happens when there is no football…..
Blame Rio Ferdinand, he started itJebus, this thread got serious….This is what happens when there is no football…..
would turn that round and ask, why does them booing hurt so many peoples feeling could you not ignore them for 10 seconds. They kneel, they cheer, they boo its all an opinion non more valid than an other. Again, just because they don't agree doesn't make them wrong.
If you listen to the reasons why they boo, they are as valid as why the players kneel.
I've no understanding why just because someone holds an opposing opinion they now must be branded as something
What are the reasons they boo out of interest? I haven’t seen any actual reason for it, maybe they have valid points I’m not aware of

A few different ones, but mainly not liking what can be seen as a political protest before a football match.
Also that's its gone on to long and it's just tokenism at this point, which is diverting attention from doing something that actually has an effect.
I've never liked boo'ing, it's just ****
First point ok. But what about wearing Poppy’s? Isn’t that political? What about rainbow laces? People not wanting politics in football, I’m guessing none of these people were any of the people asking the gov to get involved with ESL in that case as well?
Second point, I do agree that it’s lost its initial appeal and it should probably have been stopped sooner as it’s not really having impact given we still seeing players abused online. However I’m not sure that booing it is the right response in that case.
All booing does in that case is make people more determined to do it.. so kind of having opposite effect.
I’m not going to say all people that boo are bad people or racists etc. However you can imagine that the same people that are sending abusive messages would probably be the ones booing at the match as well
I heard it's all Everton fans, that's how they show their supportSo the supporters come to the game and boo players ... great show of support(!). ..
