This was my 1st World Cup supporting England given the failures in 74 and 78 - same with the Euros. By I was 16 in 1986 I think I'd seen England play about 8 games in major championships

 

I don't like the team he's picked.. Its the save side that struggled early on.

If italy can get at them it could be too late before he makes changes

We still need to get on the ball more and cause more of a threat. We can’t/shouldn’t sit back and defend for the second half.

Agree. Mount’s not done anything wrong he just hasn’t had a sufficient impact on the game.

 

Rice has been tremendous in this game

 

Slow start but he has got better and better as the game has gone on. Best game I’ve seen him play.
