The media and wishful thinking is what makes England think that . I think Wales has as good a chance at Euro as England , although you won't get a nose bleed setting the bar that high , as to outdo England
Wales will be England's biggest threat in this group and the ones that could seriously knock them out just like the Rugby boys did in their own WC tournament.....We are after the Double elimination of England in a year.......very possible too....
You can tell you are all envious Just about every person I know in England, always wants Wales, Scotland, N Ireland and Ireland, to do well in tournaments, we always 'look out for your results'. Nasty bastards. I still want you to do well though
Envious? You provide entertainment as the rest of the U.K. and Ireland take bets on how quick you get knocked out
You don't know a lot in England then? I have a Milton Keynes friend, and he is one hell of a bad loser when England lose to Wales in the Rugby, really goes off on one, anyway I think that we all want the home countries to do well until they meet, on paper you should comfortably beat Wales, but games are not played on paper, and I don't rate your manager, but he does have a great front line to choose from, that said most of our players are familiar with what to expect, and most of our team play at the top level, with a formidable back line made up from the Mighty Swans, they will relish keeping your front line at bay, and our Wales team are made up of players from Real Madrid, Arsenal, Spurs, Crystal Palace, Swansea, Liverpool, West Ham, West Brom, Newcastle, Leicester City etc. so we won't be worried about playing the OAP's of footy..............
This is what I keep hearing... who are all these OAP's that Roy is going to be playing instead of the young lads at the Euros?
Rooney will be the danger man for England and the one we must stick to like glue. Let him loose and he will score.....
So you haven't noticed how ponderous and pedestrian England have been in games then? they give a new meaning to boring, the only thing I will say in your favour is that in recent games you have played with some pace, but the opposition wasn't the best, but still going to be interesting this group, we have nothing to prove, and we will relish the under dog tag.............
We won every game in qualifying and have not long beat Germany, away. I'll take ponderous and pedestrian
England have been playing teams they should beat but when they come up against the really big sides they don't do so well.....So look out when they face Wales they will fall to pieces...
Could you have got an easier group? Vardy on the wing today? Only Hodgson could come up with that, just managed a win against Turkey, who looked very ordinary, bring it on I say...............
