thats harsh on the croatians, hit the post and the pork'n'cheese go straight up the other end and tap in the winner, and that chance from Vida at the end.... ouch
 
Croatia were to negative. Why didn't they actually have ago. The only bit of quality was the buid up to the Portugal goal.
 
Portugal deserved the win. The way they moved the ball, their passing, their football was far better. Their only downside as always is not having a recognised striker. If they had that, the game would have been won a lot earlier.
 
Sanches changed the game when he came on. Looked like the only one in Portugal team that could carry the ball forward. Modric was similar for Croatia, other than them two, the rest of the players were distinctly average.

I only started watching during the second half and he was the standout player.
 
I find football is all about bravery. Being the guy who says that sideways pass, that back pass is not the way no matter how big the game. The guy that says the goal is that way and demands the ball.

This is why players like lallana, coutinho and sterling are not great in my book and never will be.
