Has anyone else had enough of the Irish patting each other on the back and telling everyone how awesome and funny they are? 
The video with the girl is pretty funny but stuff like jumping on people's cars and vans and damaging them, throwing beer on passing cars and blocking tunnels isn't actually all that funny!!

Well. Even after some on here trying to tell me my shower of plastic wannabe Germans are actually half decent - the useless ****ers have bombed, just as I expected. And they weren't even good enough to drag Ronnie down with them.

But they fixed it! And gave them money lol..The police didn't seem to mind the tunnel thing since they didn't tear gas them or smack them on the heads...just sang back!
And we know how funny we are...it's the French people, Brazilians (why?) voting us best fans that are just realising it.
Just cause we can hold our drink without turning into Charles Bronson or bovidae sex offenders....

Plenty of northerners support the Republic.
We did the same in Toulouse. We commandeered 2 lanes of a 4 lane road in the centre of Toulouse. As long as you don't inconvenience locals too much and make them feel in danger a la England/Russia in Marseille & Lille its not too bad. Its more the patting on the back by themselves that gets me annoyed by media outlets like joe.ie .

A slight majority in the north class themselves as British, the vast majority on the island of Ireland north and south are Irish.
I think McClean's song is just like the English singing "no surrender to the IRA", a political football song.
Not all nationalist footballers have refused to play for the north as you know, the likes of Jennings, O'Neill and Lennon have, but Lennon was threatened with death by loyalists for wanting a united Irish team which has obviously put a few nationalists off doing the same since.
Mweh...it's just an acceptance that both followings have a bitter group..Believe it or not there's more anti English sentiment among the proddies than towards the Republic in international football.
My hairdresser (Catholic) was in a fairly proddie pub last night and was amazed that all the boys in NI tops were cheering them on. Even a boy with a UDA tattoo lol.
NI national team has worked hard since the Neil Lennon days to try and change it to more family friendly....and it's working.
Think it's also helped that other Irish sports have their stars now too...and most of them are all Ireland organised...
I mean why only have one piss up when you can have two? Lol. But of course if we met I'd have to go for the Norn Iron!
