I suppose but then we'd have the same midfield and be **** again. We need to improve in there. Perhaps this Grujic is the answer.
In all seriousness, I'm not sure either Hendo or Allen are good enough in the long term. Hendo hasn't performed since his injury and Joe is too hit and miss. I'd keep him as a squad player, but I can't see him being a consistent starter. I think we need more.

I agree, as much as he's playing well right now can he keep that up throughout the season? My heart says no, does he want to stay as a squad player? I don't think he does so to be fair to the lad if he can move to Swansea and play every week we should wish him well.

Skrtel had a really good game yesterday.
Better keep him. <whistle>

That is why we should never ever buy a player on the basis of their Euro or WC performances. Skirtl is no longer good enough for us but that does not mean of course he can't have a great Euro campaign...

Glad I chose to stay home and watch Wales than go to hospital to check for concussion last night. Although I think I'd rather have concussion than watch England by the sounds of it?

sounds about right.. though perhaps you should get checked anyway...

Skrtel's problem is he's limited. He's a warrior with little subtlety. In a game where he's part of a defence that's being bombarded he does well, but that's rarely the case at Liverpool. In a more open game where he's exposed to fast, tricky attackers coming at him, he can't cope well with that.
He'll do ok in the right team.
We need a more sophisticated defender, but one with steel as well. Not so easy to find.

Yup when players get him turned or run with space behind he struggles. One time he struggles yesterday was when Hendo played ball over top for Vardy. Stick him on 18 yard box for 90 mins and ask him to head/kick ball away when it comes near and he's a decent defends.

The FA's announcement of a new contract for Hodgson if we get to the quarter finals has ruined our tournament

Hodgson is gambling on coming 2nd and not getting Portugal (who Rooney will inevitably be sent off against). Then he gets to lose to France and say they're the hosts and favourites so he couldn't have done more new contract please.

If we'd won the group we could have actually been in with a chance to do something. Now our failure is mapped out.

its nice to be certain about your future isn't it... brings peace to your mind.

Yes he can. He's just never had a chance at Liverpool. You'd rather play donkeys like lallana and henderson or carthorses like milner and lucas :)

untrue...

he's had lots of runs from his peado manager david brent. he's constantly got injured.

he's been at best half fit all this season.

so enjoy....
