Hart did ok.
I thought whole back 4 were decent.

Dier and Rooney were good. Alli was anonymous. Should have come off earlier.

Sterling was poor. Very poor. Easy to berate given he left us way he did, but didn't look a threat at all and looked bereft of confidence.

Lallana na was brilliant first half and was unlucky not to score early shot but faded in 2nd half.

Kane was isolated to be fair to him. Someone needs to tell him he's not beckham trying to take bloody corners!

Should have brought someone on for sterling earlier be it Milner or Vardy and gone 2 up top.

If you are just joining us, England have drawn 1-1 with Russia following a late goal from Vasili Berezutski.

At full-time, it appears that Russian fans charged into a stand housing England fans, causing them to flee. A very ugly end to the night.

Picked 5 strikers.

Then went and played 451.

He's managed to unbalance his squad and go for a game plan based on none of the squads strength....

That's the level we are looking at here.

This is a 41212 squad all day

The 2 box to box are henderson and milner or alli. Vardy should start and the lightweight lallana should be nowhere near.

Should be a crime not to play Vardy at some point in the game!

He's the perfect example of English spirit. Plus he'd have pushed their defence back as well as not given them a minute!

They need seriously to man up now... it's a draw not a loss so now they must win v wales to top group.
 
The word is the explosion heard was a flare or firework launched in the air as a signal to start trouble in stadium in Russian end.

As I say you're not getting it.

Some sports like football go along the lines you're talking about...even so Northern Ireland international team has made serious attempts at getting away from that "unionist" image...since it was largely a fanBase thing..where ground was etc rather than the players themselves...

Irish golf, rugby, cricket has always been an all ireland affair...only the Olympics posed this issue with Rory.

Having said that...the "British" media and social media "fans" that abused him when he didn't automatically pick team GB might just have swayed him....
